What is Teeth Whitening?

STANDARD BLEACHING

Teeth whitening is a procedure that removes stains and discoloration from teeth. Discoloration can be the result of a combination of things: genetics, poor oral hygiene, accidents, medication, the effects of aging, smoking, or certain foods. Dr. Miller can change all this and give you a “Movie Star” smile within one hour. Teeth that are discolored because of tetracycline or excessive fluoride are not good candidates for the whitening procedure. Whitening techniques will only work for tetracycline staining if the discoloration is very mild. Veneers may be the best solution for more severe tetracycline cases.

DEEP BLEACHING

Dr. Miller also uses an innovative technique to bleach your teeth, called Deep Bleaching. Deep Bleaching achieves far superior and more consistent results than typical in office bleaching systems. Even teeth that have been bleached before will become whiter with Deep Bleaching.

Difficult Tetracycline stained teeth are not effectively whitened with traditional whitening systems, but the results with the Deep Bleaching system is amazing! So if you have been told that your teeth are too dark or previous bleaching has been ineffective please call Dr. Miller for a Deep Bleaching consult.

Once you reach our office, Dr. Miller will let you know what the best solution for you is.

Under the supervision of Dr. Miller, our whitening treatments are completely safe and will not harm teeth or gums. Our whitening lasts a long time. This means you will experience very little whitening loss over time if you maintain good dental habits.
